Government Resources

Although the media is not always friendly towards the Veteran's Administration, please do not disregard the the value of the VA as self-help tools alone are not always enough to overcome one's issues. Like many of you, I've had my ups and downs with the VA but it's the "ups" that have helped to get me where I am today. The VA has plenty of resources available to veterans and its in your best interest to take advantage of them.

The NVF has been helpings veterans in its current form since 1992 but its lineage and services go back to 1970. This organization is nothing short of amazing in that they are literally a one stop shop for all veterans.  In addition to links to the VA, you'll find links to every state veteran's Office and several nationwide veteran support organizations like Disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.
